fulfilling the dream of 16 thousand poor people in town

Gudivada, June 3: State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that the dream of owning nearly 16,000 poor people in Gudivada town is being fulfilled.  On Thursday, Minister Kodali Nani along with State Transport and Information Minister Perni Venkatramayya (Nani) and District Joint Collector Dr K Madhavilatha inspected the layout of YSR Jagananna Colony under Gudivada Rural  Mandal Mallaipalem.  District Joint Collector Dr Madhaveelatha expressed satisfaction over the completion of the leveling works.  Speaking on the occasion, Minister Kodali Nani said that in 2008 the then Chief Minister the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy bought 77 acres of land for the poor in Gudivada town. It was building 8,912 houses on the land.  Also, after Jaganmohan Reddy took over as the Chief Minister, 181 acres of land was purchased for the poor in Gudivada town in two installments.  About 16,000 poor people are being allotted these lands.  In Gudivada constituency, Minister Kodali Nani said that 450 acres of land was allotted to the poor during the reign of the late YSR and CM Jaganmohan Reddy.
