Induction program has been conducted for all 15 fellows of APSSDC JAGANANNA SUMMER FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM today. “Andhra Pradesh State under the leadership of Honourable Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, decided to strengthen the skill ecosystem by devising self-sustainable solutions.I encourage the fellows of this program to come up with strategic policies that strengthen the skill ecosystem to a great extent and gain
experience through this program”, Said  Challa Madhusudhan Reddy,Chairman, APSSDC. He also added, “I feel very happy for ISB partnering with us as knowledge partners for this program. I hope this partnership will continue in future with other programs of this kind as well”.

Addressing the gathering, Sri N Bangara Raju, Managing Director, APSSDC said,“I observed that all these 15 fellows have been very energetic throughout the interview process and I’m sure that the same energy will be invested in this program. Definitely, this program is going to give them a great experience and I hope the state government would benefit out of the strategies and policies designed by these fellows”.

Dr. D V Koti Reddy, Executive Director, APSSDC congratulated the fellows and asked them to make the best out of this program. “The internal guides of APSSDC and external guides from ISB will guide you throughout the program”,he added.

Management Students and graduates were invited to apply for this program by sending their CV through an email. APSSDC had received a whopping 2680 applications from candidates across the world. These applications are categorized into groups such as IIT, NIT, IIM, IISc, BITS and other international universities. Based on the academic performance and Competitive examinations score (such as CAT, MAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, etc.,), 60 candidates have been selected and invited for an interview. APSSDC interview
panel had conducted the interviews for these 60 candidates and selected 15 candidates for this program.

These candidates will carry out research work to strengthen the skill development ecosystem of Andhra Pradesh. The fellows will work closely in 5 areas/sectors namely Navaratnalu, Agriculture supply chain & value addition,Atmanirbhar Bharat & PLI Scheme, Service Sector & elderly care and APSSDC Self revenue generation. This is a 3 month fellowship where the fellows need to develop strategic policies through research whose outcomes will be utilized to develop solutions around the State’s skill ecosystem alignment.
