 – Minister of State for Civil Supplies Kodali Nani

Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani), Minister of State for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, has directed the district administration to focus on hospitals that obstruct Covid and rob patients.  A division level review meeting on Covid was held on Thursday at the camp office in Gudivada town under the chairmanship of District Collector AMD Intiaz.  On the occasion, Minister Kodali Nani said that doctors were also facing many difficulties in the wake of the Covid Second Wave calm.  He, however, praised the doctors for working tirelessly to save the patients who come with confidence. unfortunately some private hospitals are setting up Covid centers with the aim of making money.  Corona-infected patients are given an oxygen bed for six days if they come in for treatment, are sent home if negative and are forced to stay in a home isolation by setting up a cylinder if oxygen levels are low.  Patients who had been treated for six days were outraged that they were being treated as if they had nothing to do with death or life.  He said he was treating four to five corona infected patients per bed per month and sending the victims home under any circumstances.  At the district level, collectors, joint collectors, public representatives, doctors and staff in government securities are working with the vision of bringing good name to the government, he said.  They are working with the goal of saving the lives of patients by providing better medical care.  On the other hand, some doctors are practicing medicine for the purpose of making money in the society.  In this context everyone wants to think with a humanitarian perspective.  He said that the society needs to treat the inhumane people as pests as the only way to prevent and plunder the present catastrophic situation.  The district administration wants to focus on people who raise money on corpses without high, low, burial. Such people need to be finished as a blow to the dog bite after the disaster is over.  Minister Kodali Nani opined that forgiving them would be a week of betrayal for future generations.  District Collector AMD Intiaz, District Joint Collector Dr K Madhaveelatha, Gudivada RDO G Srisukumar, Municipal Commissioner PJ Sampath Kumar, DCHO Jyotirmayi, Deputy DMHO Sudarshan Babu, Gudivada Area Government Hospital  Superintendent Dr S Indiradevi, Mandal Tehsildar Srinivas and others were present on the occasion.
